Crossland and Dudson Training Ltd started in 2007 and has grown rapidly due to our successful delivery of learning. For example, to date, we have over 1000 Basic Skills passes in Numeracy or Literacy.
We have four of our own Centres that we lease independently, all of which have £10 million Public Liability insurance as well as being properly Risk Assessed. Currently we have 400 students learning with us.
We deliver Basic Skills and Family Learning for Sussex Coast College Hastings and have large contracts to do so. Additionally we were the only private provider contracted to deliver the Hastings BEST Project which we fulfilled well within the allotted time frames. This was a £2.3 million project specifically designed to upskill the people of Hastings. Due to our highly successful outcomes we were contracted further on this project. We also have the expertise to deliver SCCH Family Learning and do all of their FLIF allocation. Again this is a repeat contract.
We are the largest single contracted party to deliver ESCC Family Learning and indeed wish to pursue and enhance our provision. We have had excellent results and during the recent Family Learning Ofsted Partnerships received a 1. We are the main partner!
As well as in our own Centres we work closely with schools and Children's Centres and deliver in these venues additionally. We cover a wide geographical area as we wish to reach as many communities as possible.
We have also been involved in delivering pilots and various 'one offs' on behalf of the LSC and NIACE amongst others. We have been invited to do these because of our highly successful track record.
We have approximately 25 staff, including two highly capable administrators. We submit accounts as required and our Accountant will provide any additional information about our financial stability.
We receive Funding from UK Online Centres and are part of the BBC First Click project. We also run an independent and fully resources Tuition Centre for children in our Eastbourne centre.
We are very keen to promote appropriate learning and believe that we have both a substantial and successful track record in this field.
We are currently running a successful Apprentice Academy where we have recruited eleven 16-18 year olds to run a business. This is challenging!
We have City and Guilds approval as well as delivering NOCN exams.
We can supply excellent references and will consider all types of sub-contracting. We have trained nursery nurses, organised car maintenance sessions and hosted folk art and radio station sessions amongst others!
