UKA Live: data for change that matters

Friday 19 May

Time: 11:00 - 12:00 via Teams Live

data in our hands

Transformation must be underpinned by good quality, accurate, reliable and accessible data if we are truly to deliver change that matters for people and public sector organisations.

Is your organisation’s data a core asset driving transformation or a potential liability draining resource and hiding its potential?

Long hyped as the new oil, we have yet to hit the sweet spot of repeatable, confident use of data across the public sector delivering insight in real-time and with the agility to respond to the complex and ever-changing world we live in.

Data is dynamic and needs careful management, but human intervention is expensive. How can we best organise and automate the basics to focus on making real change through more prevention, earlier interventions, more efficient services with better outcomes?

As we move from the pandemic, war in Ukraine and through the cost of living crises how can we both respond effectively and prepare for ‘what’s next’? How can we standardise and view relationships, flag vulnerabilities and be ready to help?

And perhaps, more importantly, how do we engage senior leadership across the sector of the value of getting the data basics right as a platform to power transformation and change?

Our expert panel on the 19th are passionate and proven leaders in the use of data for the public good. Join us to discuss how we can tackle the issues holding us back from realising the power of #data4good.
