A chance to have your say on bus routes in the Capital

Londoners are being encouraged to share their thoughts on TfL's proposals to alter bus services in the West End.

The routes affected by the proposals are all in the Tottenham Court Road area and people have until 24 July to give their views.

TfL says the plans, if adopted, will simplify the bus network and cut journey times for many passengers.

The consultation comes ahead of the introduction of two-way traffic to Tottenham Court Road and Gower Street, which is planned for the end of 2018 as part of Camden Council's West End Project.

TfL is proposing to make the changes in the Tottenham Court Road, Gower Street and St Giles High Street areas to accommodate this major traffic re-design.

The routes that might be affected include: 1, 10, 14, 18, 19, 24, 29, 30, 38, 73, 134, 176, 205, 242 and 390.

Some night services may also be affected.

Two drop-in sessions are being held - on Tuesday July 5 and Wednesday July 13 at the American International Church, 79a Tottenham Court Road, W1T 4TD - where people can discuss the bus proposals further with representatives from TfL.
