A taste of future travel

Catch a glimpse of the future of transport, including the new Night Tube routes launching this September, at the FutureFest exhibition next month.

The show will preview the next generation of Underground trains set to enter service in the mid-2020s, along with installations and performances from the worlds of fashion, music, money, machines and global cities.

Speakers include fashion designer Vivienne Westwood, visionary musician George Clinton and human rights lawyer Baroness Helena Kennedy QC.

TfL's Managing Director for Planning Richard de Cani said: 'We're excited to be part of FutureFest as the future of transport has never been as important as it is today.

'By 2050 there could be over 11m people who need to get around the capital. At TfL, we're already planning for this population growth with new river crossings, Tube extensions, Crossrail 2 and much more all in development.'

  • FutureFest takes place on 14 and 15 March at Vinopolis, London Bridge. Tickets from £40 atwww.futurefest.org
