All aboard the new kids zone
Fancy flying the Emirates Air Line, sailing the Thames Nipper or repairing a Tube train?
It's all possible if you are under seven and take a trip to the London Transport Museum in Covent Garden.
The new children's play zone, All Aboard, lets youngsters play on a fleet of miniature vehicles and dress up in uniforms to become drivers, station announcers and more.
They can climb into the driver's seat of a real Optare Solo bus, play in the 'Lost Property' office, serve passengers in the Nipper café, make driver announcements and help customers at the mini information desk using a magnetic message board, maps and clocks.
There are also noisy seats to be found on some of the vehicles. Sit on them and they make some very funny sounds! The museum has also introduced a special area for infants, Baby DLR, which is equipped with an interactive
wall and building blocks.
Entrance is free for anyone under 18. Adult tickets (£16) give unlimited access to the museum for a year.
