Allocation of papers accepted in lieu of tax

The following collections of papers have been accepted in lieu of tax by the government:

  1. Durham estate papers (12th to 20th centuries) of the Vane-Tempest-Stewart family, Marquesses of Londonderry
  1. The family and estate papers of the Ward family Earls of Dudley (12th to 20th centuries)
  1. The family and estate papers of the Fitzroy Somerset family, Barons Raglan (19th and 20th centuries)

Any library, record office or analogous institution in the United Kingdom interested in being allocated the papers should contact James Travers, Casework Manager, Archives Sector Development, The National Archives, Ruskin Avenue, Kew TW9 4DU (e-mail:asd@nationalarchives.gsi.gov.uk) for further particulars in the first instance.

Applications for allocation of this material must be received in writing at the same address by 15 March 2016.
