Annual procurement survey - responses invited

The latest survey designed to measure the levels of efficiency and effectiveness in the higher education sector – the procurement efficiency measurement model (EMM) survey – is currently open.

The deadline for responses is 7 February 2017.

Procurement in the higher education sector has a good history of over-delivering against savings targets set by Government.

It has also shown continued efficiencies in successive reviews of efficiency and effectiveness.

This level of success has only been achieved by the support of institutions in completing the annual survey.

Previously run by HEFCE, the survey is now run by the Higher Education Procurement Academy, which is part of the British Universities Finance Directors Group.

Steve Butcher, Head of Procurement at HEFCE, said:

‘We still need the same level of participation so that we can carry on with evidencing the hard work that has been put into this area by the sector to date.’

To complete the survey, contact Emma Keenan at the Higher Education Procurement Academy - emma@hepa.ac.uk

Note, the deadline for responding has been extended by a week to the 7 February 2017.
