Baroness Anelay Twitter Q&A

Baroness Anelay will be answering the public’s questions on Human Rights on the 28th April.

Foreign Office Minister Baroness Anelay will be answering questions on human rights live on Twitter at 12:00pm (BST) on Thursday 28th April. You can tweet your questions now to @JoyceAnelay using #askFCO.

This follows the publication of the Foreign Office’s 2015 Annual Human Rights report on the 21st April 2016. The report focused on three human rights themes: democratic values and the rule of law; human rights for a stable world; and strengthening the rules-based international system.

Baroness Anelay said:

I look forward to answering the public’s questions on human rights and our latest report. As the Foreign Secretary said, human rights are at the heart of our diplomats’ work. They are at the heart of Ministers’ work too. I’m pleased to have this opportunity to outline my priorities and share reflections from my engagements here in London and overseas.
