Big Lottery Fund makes three new appointments to its senior team

Dawn Austwick, Chief Executive of Big Lottery Fund, yesterday announced three senior management team appointments to the Big Lottery Fund:

  • Gemma Bull has been appointed England Portfolio Development Director and will be joining the Fund in October. Gemma is currently Managing Director of Enterprise and Innovation at Leonard Cheshire Disability. Alongside this role, Gemma is co-founder of EasyPeasy, a digital service that supports children's early development.
  • Joe Ferns joins the Fund in September as UK Portfolio and Knowledge Director.Joe is currently Executive Director of Policy, Research and Development at the Samaritans. He has held a number of posts with The Samaritans and has worked in the field of mental health for almost 20 years.
  • Lyn Cole has been appointed England Grant Making Director. Lyn has more than 17 years of experience of grant making at Big Lottery Fund and across its predecessor bodies. Currently Deputy Director for England, Lyn moves into this role with immediate effect.
