CBI comments on government climate change report

The CBI commented on the Government’s report: Paris 2015: Securing our prosperity through a global climate change agreement.

Katja Hall, CBI Deputy Director-General, said:

“Tackling climate change and driving growth can go hand in hand, and getting a global deal next year will be crucial to giving businesses certainty, enabling them to compete on an equal footing and spurring innovation.

“This report is an important line in the sand from the Government, and it is absolutely critical that it continues to work with international partners to keep the momentum going all the way to Paris
