CCC - Adaptation Sub-Committee seeks new members

The UK Government is seeking to appoint two new members to serve on the Adaptation Sub-Committee (ASC) of the Committee on Climate Change.

As a Sub-Committee member the successful applicants will be responsible for developing the work of the ASC, determining its strategic direction and providing impartial input into the Sub-Committee’s work.

The ASC is made up of six experts from the fields of climate change, science and economics and is chaired by Lord Krebs.

The successful candidates will be expected to join the ASC as soon as they are appointed and will play an important role in shaping the work of the Committee in providing independent and expert advice on climate change policy to the UK Government.
