CDE Innovation Network event: 9 February 2016, London

The Centre for Defence Enterprise (CDE) is holding a networking event for science and technology providers in London on 9 February 2016.

Registration is open now. It closes on 5 February 2016 at 12:30pm.

The event is taking place in London at 1 Wimpole Street.

Jim Pennycook, Head of Operations at CDE, will introduce CDE and give an overview of proof-of-concept research funding opportunities for innovative science and technology providers.

Technical experts from Dstl (the Defence Science and Technology Laboratory) will provide specific information about the themed competition: detect and treat hearing loss and tinnitus. This competition has up to £500,000 available for fully funded phase-1 projects.

In addition, Bruce Hardie, CDE’s Technology Manager, will talk about how to create an effective proposal for CDE funding and CDE’s enduring competition.

Attendees will be able to book a face-to-face meeting with CDE and Dstlsubject matter experts to discuss potential proposals to the ‘detect and treat hearing loss and tinnitus’ themed competition, and also to theenduring competition, once you’ve signed up for the main event.

There will be networking opportunities with other potential bidders, current Dstl suppliers, CDE, Dstl and military experts.
