Consultation on methodology for addressing high frequency repeat victimisation in Crime Survey for England and Wales estimates

As part of our continuous drive to improve statistics, ONS commissioned a review of the methodology for the Crime Survey for England and Wales. This review focussed on how we handle high frequency repeat victimisation, and compared current and alternative methods.

This review proposed a set of recommendations and we are now seeking feedback on these recommendations.

This consultation is part of a comprehensive programme of work to improve crime statistics for England and Wales. The consultation will run for 10 weeks and closes on 13 September 2016.
