Co-operative Loved by Us Tandoori Chicken Slices recalled

The Co-operative Food is recalling its Loved by Us Tandoori Chicken Slices because the product contains milk, which is not mentioned on the label.

This makes the product a possible health risk for anyone who has an allergy or intolerance to milk and its constituents.

Advice to consumers

If you have bought the above product and have an allergy or intolerance to milk and its constituents, do not eat it. Instead, telephone the Co-operative’s Customer Careline on freephone 0800 0686 727 to arrange a full refund.

Action taken by the company

The company has recalled the affected product from customers and has provided point-of-sale notice to its stores. A copy of the notice can be found at the link below. The company has been asked to contact the relevant allergy support organisations, which will tell their members about the recall.

No other Co-operative Food products are known to be affected.
