During the past ten years Dame Yve and CCWater have been instrumental in reshaping the priorities of the water industry so the interests of water customers are now much more at its heart.

The success of this work was reflected in the 2014 Price Review which has delivered the promise of lower water bills for most customers over the next five years, alongside even greater levels of investment in the water and sewerage services that matter most to consumers.

With complaints against water companies also in long-term decline the future looks bright for water customers – but significant challenges remain to ensure the interests of consumers are protected.
