Design of new certified IA industry consultancy takes shape

CESG's new approach to certifying industry IA consultancy is taking shape and will move the focus away from certification of individuals, towards certification of companies. This approach - which will replace the current CLAS scheme - will raise the bar to entry as companies will be required to have at least one consultant at CCP Senior Practitioner level. It will also better support the formation of multi-disciplinary teams to tackle more complex government customer needs and will introduce a 'match-making service' to help government customers find the right consultancy services.

CESG plans to launch the new approach on 1st June 2015.

CESG is adopting a collaborative approach during the design and intends to run a proof of concept phase where companies can test the application process and give feedback.
