A week today, Enterprise Insurance motor policies will no longer be valid. FSCS has warned people that think they may have motor insurance with Enterprise to urgently speak to their insurance broker and find alternative cover.

This reminder comes as provisional liquidator Freddie White, of Grant Thornton has outlined that all motor policies will be disclaimed on 26 October. Once the motor policies have been disclaimed, he will go on to handle non-motor policies in the coming weeks.

FSCS is again reminding consumers to avoid unwittingly driving without valid motor insurance. If people do not find new cover before next Wednesday (26th) FSCS protection will no longer apply.

FSCS Chief Executive, Mark Neale, says “FSCS is currently protecting Enterprise Insurance customers, however, motor insurance policies will not be valid this time next week and we cannot pay for claims after this date. We strongly urge people to speak to their broker and find new cover as soon as they can.”
