Green light for open access

On 17 and 18 May, experts, funders, research institutions and policy makers from across Europe have come together at the 'Green Light for Open Access' conference. They have discussed how Open Access policies are being developed, funded, implemented and monitored.


Research using an electron microscope 

During its EU Presidency, the Netherlands is working towards a common EU approach to open science, including open access to scientific publications and the best possible reuse of research data.

The conference has been organised by PASTEUR4OA, a project which aims to support European Commission recommendations on developing and implementing Open Access policies across Europe.
