HCA - The NextGeneration Annual Sustainability Benchmark 2015
NextGeneration is an annual sustainability benchmark of the 25 largest homebuilders in the UK. The benchmark enables homebuilders, Government, investors and the public to understand the sustainability of the homebuilders’ operations and the new homes they build.
NextGeneration is the only sustainable housing benchmark used by the majority of the UK’s largest homebuilders. Each year members are assessed on a wide range of criteria relating to high-quality, sustainable house-building, and are given an overall percentage score out of 100. This year Crest Nicholson demonstrated the best performance amongst all homebuilders by scoring 83 per cent. Barratt Developments and Lendlease took joint second place scoring 81 per cent while Linden Homes took third place with 74 per cent.
