Hear the underground sounds of Europe in London with Match & Fuse

This weekend, a small music festival with a big reach brings the underground sounds of Europe crashing down on the ears of London.

Match & Fuse is an annual festival of international jazz-punk and new music. Over 28 and 29 October, 23 acts from 14 European countries will do their thing in seeven spaces across the city.

Artists include Krokofant (Norway), Ingrid Lukas (Estonia & Switzerland), Empty Taxi (Belgium) and Color Dolor (Finland) beside Let Spin, Evan Parker and Big Bad Wolf from the UK.

“You might not know any of the bands, but fantastic, innovative and honest performances are guaranteed” says Dave Morecroft, Director of Match & Fuse.

For the small London-based organisation, it’s all in the name. They ‘match’ bands from different countries who ‘fuse’ together to create new works. Bands get the chance to play outside their homeland, and audiences get to see the most exciting instrumental and vocal music from the European underground.
