Help TfL to help you

The Tube network is carrying more people than ever before, with numbers continuing to rise. 

We are investing billions of pounds to help meet this demand.

While this investment is taking place, there are some things that you can do to help journeys go as smoothly as possible:

  • Allow customers off the train before boarding and stand clear of the doors
  • At busy stations, move down the platform and always stand on the right on escalators
  • Avoid pulling the alarm between stations - you can get help more quickly on a station platform
  • Take your litter with you
  • Report anything suspicious to a member of staff or police officer
