Help inform our theatre investment

Arts Council England is currently undertaking some research into theatre production, presentation and attendance in England.

The results will equip us with a current picture of theatre in England and is intended to inform our future approaches to investment in this area.

The study consists of data analysis, a literature review and industry conversations (including in-depth interviews and focus groups). As well as organisations that the Arts Council currently funds, it also covers the wider industry, including the not-for-profit and commercial sectors.

To ensure we draw on as wide a range of experiences as possible, we are asking theatre and associated professionals to complete a short online survey.

Participants will not only be sharing their knowledge and experience, but also ensuring that the research project has the richest and most diverse source material possible.

The survey should take around 15 minutes to complete - responses must be completed by Friday 25 March.

The study is being conducted by BOP Consulting and Graham Devlin Associates, supported by John Kieffer.
