How much TfL data do you want?

We are making more details about its finances and operations publicly available than ever before - but is it what you want?

A consultation has been launched asking for views on the usefulness of the documents currently published and if there is any other information people would like to see in the public domain.

Responses are needed by 2 March and will help shape our approach to what is made public.

We are responsible for 30 million journeys every day and have an annual budget of £9billion. Its purpose is to keep London working and growing and to make life in the Capital better. Openness and transparency about how this is done helps to improve services.

Currently, our website publishes a vast amount of regularly updated data covering fares, financial and operational performance, customer satisfaction, journey patterns, and progress on modernising London's public transport and roads networks.

This helps people to understand how London's transport network is managed and how every penny of our income is reinvested to improve transport.

We also provide free, real-time open data, which enables customers to get up-to-the-minute travel information and services.
