IPCC begins an independent investigation after a man dies following an incident involving the Metropolitan Police Service

The Independent Police Complaints Commission (IPCC) has begun an independent investigation after a man died following an incident involving the Metropolitan Police Service in Islington, North London in the early hours of Sunday 27th July. IPCC investigators are working at the scene and are attending the post-incident procedure at Islington Police station. The investigation is at an early stage and we will issue more information in due course.
