Index of manufacturing exports for Scotland for the 1st quarter of 2015

A National Statistics publication for Scotland

Scotland’s Chief Statistician today announced the publication of the latest Index of Manufactured Exports for the first quarter of 2015.

This quarterly publication measures changes, in constant-price and seasonally-adjusted terms, in export sales to the rest of the world from manufacturing businesses located in Scotland.

The main findings are:

  • The volume of Scottish manufactured export sales rose by 2.1 per cent during the first quarter of 2015.
  • On a rolling-annual basis, comparing the latest four quarters to the previous four quarters, manufactured export volumes rose by 2.7 per cent.
