Information on sea bass measures

The European Commission has provided further details on measures affecting fishing for sea bass.

The European Commission has published an update on its website about the adoption of measures affecting fishing for sea bass.

It says it anticipates that: “the decision will be adopted and come into force before the end of the month.”

The Commission commits to working with the countries involved to finalise these measures in the coming weeks. Defra takes part in these discussions on behalf of the UK.
