Insolvency practitioner sanctions
Sanctions imposed by insolvency regulators against insolvency practitioners from 1 November 2014 are now being published on our website as part of our drive to improve transparency across the industry.
Publication will be in addition to other publicity currently used by the individual regulators and will apply to all sanctions arising from matters that go to disciplinary committees. The move has been agreed between the Insolvency Service and the individual regulators.
To improve transparency in the regulatory regime for insolvency practitioners we are committed to publishing in one place all sanctions which have been applied to insolvency practitioners. Responsibility for monitoring and discipline of insolvency practitioners rests with eight regulatory bodies.
