LUMIERE LIGHTS UP LONDON

Large crowds are expected in the West End and King's Cross next week as the UK's largest light festival kicks off in London.

There will be road closures and changes to bus services as Lumiere lights up the city with spectacular art works, interactive installations and 3D projections from 18.30-22:30, Thursday to Sunday.

Changes that will affect your travel:

  • Road closures in the West End and King's Cross
  • Buses travelling into and from Zone 1 may be delayed, diverted or terminate early
  • Heavy traffic is expected in central London from 16:30 each day
  • Some Tube stations, especially Oxford Circus, will be busier than usual

The easiest way to travel to see Lumiere highlights will be by walking or using the Tube. Download a map or an app to find the festival highlights from the event website.
