Ofwat publishing consultation on the final 2010-15 reconciliation

Ofwat has yesterday published a consultation on the final reconciliation for the 2010-15 period. For the last price review, PR14, when considering companies’ performance over the period 2010-15, Ofwat had to use forecast information as the 2014-15 year was still in progress.

Companies have now provided complete information and final audited spend and performance data for the whole 2010-2015 period, which we have used to update out analysis. Information from this will be used in the next price review period covering 2020-25.

Alongside this consultation, Ofwat has also published a proposed further version of its PR14 reconciliation rulebook, on the process for handling the reconciliation of the 2015-20 period in the next price review. This includes minor updates from the last version published in February.

The consultation is available online at Ofwat.gov.uk.
