12-page Mediaplanet report to appear in the Guardian on 15th June.

On Monday 15th June, Mediaplanet Publishing, in association with techUK, will be launching the 'Public Sector Technology' Campaign, a 12-page report published in The Guardian , and hosted at online via a dedicated website 'www.publicsectorit.co.uk' (Launched on the same day)

A number of different topics will be explored in the publication:

• Overview - a look at the current sector in light of the election result. New methods being implemented in order to improve efficiency across the sector from education, local governance and the health service.
• Local government - a competitive marketplace of tech companies offering new solutions tailored to the needs of authorities at a local level and how new initiatives have allowed for greater efficiency and accountability.
• Healthcare - a look at the use and opportunity for technologies to improve patient experience as well as the use of secure data to assist with connectivity between medical professionals and departments digitally.
• Public Service Network - the initiative and the role it plays in bringing networks together.
• G-Cloud - a look at the online market place (CloudStore) allowing for the acquisition of I.T services with 1,200 accredited suppliers operates and can offer authorities with choice of over 13,000 services dependent on their individual needs.
• Education Technology - new initiatives with the use of tech and data management to improve operations and education delivery in state funded education.SME- A look at some of the up and coming tech companies having an input in public sector technology solutions.
