Opportunity to join a HEFCE strategic advisory committee

We are looking to appoint a member to the Teaching Excellence & Student Opportunity (TESO) Strategic Advisory Committee.

Deadline for applications: 4 September 2015

The successful candidate will represent the diversity of views of institutions of a denominational character as part of strategic discussions and policy development. This position provides a unique opportunity to contribute to the development and direction of higher education policy.

The core purpose of the Committee is to offer expert advice and to support the Board and the Executive in addressing HEFCE’s policy and funding priorities relating to:

  • teaching excellence
  • student access
  • student success and progression to further study or employment.

This includes providing advice related to any issues of special concern to institutions of a denominational character. This will support HEFCE’s role in providing an appropriate balance of support between institutions of a denominational character and other institutions, through HEFCE’s funding responsibilities.
