Head of ITSM at AXELOS, Kaimar Karu, will be taking part in a keynote panel debate: ‘Qualifications and training vs learning on the job’. Kaimar will be debating with CEO of BCS, Jon Buttriss and CIO at The University of St. Andrew’s Steve Watt to understand the value of frameworks such as ITIL, consider how tools like YouTube and Google have fundamentally changed how we learn, and compare the value of certifying staff in their roles.

AXELOS’ Head of Community, Toby Moore, will also be running a session ‘Becoming a more responsive service desk’ at the event. This presentation will introduce a method of designing IT services, which places agility and quality at their very heart. Toby will share a personal case study of using this model to transform a tired IT service desk into a fast-paced, experience-centric support team.
