Sainsbury's is recalling some of its by Sainsbury's Strawberry Fromage Frais Pouches because the product may contain pieces of blue plastic. This means the product is a possible risk to health.

No other Sainsbury’s products are known to be affected.

Action taken by the company

Sainsbury’s is recalling the above product on a precautionary basis. Point-of-sale notices will be displayed in stores selling this product. These notices explain to customers why the product is being recalled. A copy of the notice can be found at the link below.

Advice to consumers

If you have bought any of the above product, do not eat it. Instead return it to your nearest Sainsbury’s store, where you will receive a full refund.
