September 2015 issue of 'Early Years Inspection Update' newsletter published

This newsletter provides inspectors and stakeholders with information and guidance about Ofsted's inspection work in the early years sector.

This is the first edition of the ‘Early Years Inspection Update’. The newsletter is used to keep Ofsted inspectors informed about key messages, relevant publications and updates to inspection documentation.

This edition has:

  • a message from Gill Jones, Deputy Director, Early Education about the new inspection arrangements for September 2015
  • information about our new initiative to recognise exceptional leaders
