Socitm partners with Knowledge Hub to boost digital collaboration between members

Knowledge Hub, the UK’s largest platform for public service collaboration, today announced that it is partnering with Socitm, the society for IT/digital leaders and professionals working in local public services, to enable Socitm members to collaborate online.

Socitm is one of the first organisations to implement Knowledge Hub’s new ‘Network’ facility, allowing it to set up and manage a Socitm-focused community on behalf of its 1,650 members comprising the most senior people in local public service IT and digital leadership. At the same time, Socitm will retain the ability to engage with the wider community providing services to the public across Knowledge Hub.

Socitm’s members and partners will be able to access a variety of discussion groups and services on Knowledge Hub e.g. a member networking group that will include Socitm Strategic Partners to provide more opportunity to engage with members and national stakeholders, and a new policy discussion area aimed at giving members more visibility into Socitm’s representation work.

Socitm will formally launch its new ‘Network’ at its Spring Conference in London on 23 April 2015. There will be a phased roll-out, culminating in the Knowledge Hub ‘Network’ being fully integrated with Socitm’s new website when that goes live.
