Surrey Police find misconduct case proven against officer
Surrey Police has found that the misconduct case against a police constable to be proven following an Independent Police Complaints Commission (IPCC) investigation into a serious road traffic collision in June 2013.
A misconduct hearing held by Surrey Police found the case against PC Andrew Crabbwas proven in relation to misconduct for discreditable conduct and duties and responsibilities. He received a final written warning on 19 May.
A managed investigation by the IPCC concluded that there was evidence to indicate the officer had a case to answer for gross misconduct for his actions following the collision on 28 June 2013 on the A29 Warnham, near Horsham in Sussex.
