We met with over 80 suppliers recently to discuss our ideas for the new Technology Products agreement and have now published the Prior Information Notice.

We held a series of supplier engagement events recently, in partnership with techUK, to look at how we should structure the new Technology Products agreement to meet the needs of both buyers and suppliers.

83 different supplier organisations came along including resellers, software vendors and hardware manufacturers, many of which are small businesses. Feedback was positive:

We took a collaborative approach to the workshops as we’re keen to work with suppliers to understand what they like and don’t like about the existing agreement and develop innovative ideas for the new agreement.

The new Technology Products agreement needs to be easy to use and accessible for both buyers and potential suppliers. With this in mind, the workshops focused on the structure of the agreement, the evaluation process, terms and conditions and the use of catalogues to ensure we make it as easy as possible for small businesses to get involved.

We’re grateful to everyone who came along to share their ideas and look forward to suppliers’ continued participation in helping us shape the agreement.
