The Criminal Injuries Compensation Authority are moving

The Criminal Injuries Compensation Authority helpline will be closed from 5pm Thursday 4 to 12.30pm Monday 8 September while they move to new premises. You can still apply for criminal injuries compensation on GOV.UK.

You can apply for compensation if you or someone you know has been hurt in a violent crime in the past 2 years - you’ll need to fill in an online form.

What you need to know
