Update for customers of Enterprise Insurance Company Plc

The Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS) is aware of the announcement recently by the Financial Services Commission (FSC) in Gibraltar that Enterprise Insurance Company Plc (Enterprise) has indicated it is insolvent.

The FSC has advised it will be working with the firm to issue winding up proceedings and is making an application to appoint a provisional liquidator.

FSCS is in discussions with the FSC and expects to work with Enterprise’s provisional liquidator (once appointed) to understand what this means for UK policyholders.

We will make a further announcement to update customers of Enterprise as soon as we have more information.
