Trevor Hutchings, Director of Advocacy at WWF-UK commented on the recent announcement by the Prime Minister that the Government will publish a White Paper on leaving the EU

“The forthcoming White Paper will need to highlight how the Government will make sure that our nature and environment do not lose out. 

Our environment is under ever increasing threat, so from the air we breathe to the soil we use and the water we drink, renegotiating our relationship with the rest of the EU should be taken as an opportunity to secure and strengthen the current protections we have.”
