Wales Office Minister delivers speech on importance of transport in Wales
Guto Bebb MP today delivered a key note address at the Policy Forum Wales seminar in Cardiff.
The event explored ‘The Future for Transport Policy in Wales’. Mr Bebb discussed themes around current UK Government railway investment, the importance of major routes in both north and south Wales and what the future is for Welsh transport.
Guto Bebb said:
It is essential to deliver transport infrastructure in Wales which is fit for the 21st-century if we are to build on our country’s strengths and drive economic growth.
The UK Government is determined to work together with the Welsh Government and local partners to improve the experience of passengers and commuters throughout Wales.
Wales is open for business and strong transport links are vital for continued prosperity.
