Welsh Government funding helps South Wales IT company to expand

Vizolution - an award winning IT company - is expanding its technology team and creating twenty two new jobs in Port Talbot with support from the Welsh Government.

The company, which has its headquarters in Baglan Energy Park, has received a £275,000 funding package from the Welsh Government which includes grant support and repayable business finance.

It will enable Vizolution to expand into new markets both in the UK and internationally and recruitment for top quality IT developers is already underway.

Vizolution is a multi-award winning provider of unique digital customer engagement solutions that allow contact centre staff to remotely and securely share visual information with customers on a real time basis during a call. Vizolution solutions have resulted in a richer customer experience and greater customer engagement.

Vizolution’s patented solutions are currently used by four of the top five UK banks and two of the top five UK insurance providers. Use of Vizolution solutions are credited with increasing sales by more than 20% while receiving 94% positive customer feedback.

Initially targeted at the financial services sector - with blue chip customers including Legal and General and Santander – the company is now targeting new sectors including telecoms, utilities, media and pharma in the UK and overseas markets.

It secures a fast growing technology company in Wales and represents a strategic investment for the ICT sector in Wales.”
