Welsh NHS Confederation comments on waiting times

Speaking about the latest waiting times for referral to treatment and diagnostic services in NHS Wales, Vanessa Young, Director of the Welsh NHS Confederation, said: “Our members are working hard to reduce the length of time patients have to wait for treatment.  

"It is therefore very pleasing to see that in the month of March the NHS has managed to reduce the number of people waiting the longest for diagnostic services and those waiting for treatment by more than a third when compared to January this year. 

" There is still more to do and driving down waiting times continues to be a priority for our members.”
