Xylella: evidence on host plants reviewed
EFSA’s plant health experts have reviewed new evidence regarding the categorisation ofVitis (grapevine), Citrus, Quercus ilex (holm oak) and Phoenix roebelenii (ornamental dwarf palm) as host plants of Xylella fastidiosa.
The X. fastidiosa bacterium has been present in southern Italy since 2013 and has subsequently been detected in Corsica and mainland France.
