techUK recognised alongside members in the 2017 Big Data 100

We would like to congratulate members of techUK that have been honoured in the DataIQ Big Data 100. techUK's Head of Cloud, Data, Analytics and AI Sue Daley was also recognised for the second year as a key influencer in driving forward the UK Data alongside the UK Information Commissioner, Elizabeth Denhan, CEO of the DMA, and CEO of the Open Data Initiative Jeni Tennison.

Published annually, the Big Data 100 profiles people setting the big data driven business agenda in the UK. The overall winner was Andy Day, Chief data officer Sainsburys in a list that included many techUK member companies. These were Stephen Deadman, Global deputy chief privacy officer Facebook, Kim Nilsson CEO Pivigo, Lauren Walker, Head of data strategy, partnerships and business development Europe IBM, and Mike de Halpert, Director European Analytics eBay.

Also recognised was Peter Williams, Head of enterprise analytics Marks and Spencer who will be speaking at the upcoming techUK and Payments UK “Unlocking the power of data” event on 22 March.
