Agri-tech innovation in developing countries: apply for funding

UK businesses and universities can apply for a share of up to £4 million to develop agri-tech innovations with developing country partners.

The Department for International Development (DFID) has up to £4 million to fund round 6 of the Agri-Tech Catalyst.

The aim of the competition is to increase the pace and scale of uptake of agricultural innovation by farmers in developing countries and to achieve:

The government’s UK Strategy for Agricultural Technologies is helping the UK respond to these challenges. It has invested £160 million in the Agri-Tech Catalyst and 4 Centres for Agricultural Innovation.
