Can't see the woods for the art

Supported by our funding, a Corby based choir is getting thousands of local people involved in arts and culture as part of a major festival taking inspiration from the town's urban woodlands.

Our Woods is taking place between September 2016 and May 2017.

More than 1,000 people are expected to take part in over 40 creative activities and events including, storytelling and spoken word, dance and music, visual art and printmaking.

The festival is being produced by Deep Roots Tall Trees with international singer, Barb Jungr; choreographer, Neil Paris; and international sound and light artist, Laurenz Theinert.

Events will be happening throughout the year before a major finale in the woodlands and performance programme at The Corby Cube.
