Customers save over £2 million on mobile voice and data services

A further competition
run on behalf of 14 customers under PSN Services for common mobile
voice and data requirements has delivered great
results:
- Innovative terms designed to
attract the best possible price via an eAuction have resulted in an average
saving of 77% compared to customers’ equivalent spend – a saving of
over £2 million over the life of the three year
contract.
- The flexible contract allows
customers to move their current mobile estate gradually during the first two
years helping to avoid costly early termination
charges.
- A co-termination policy will
ensure that all migrated connections have the same end date creating the
opportunity for easier re-procurement in the future.
This procurement is a great
example of how aggregation is helping achieve best value for both the public
sector and the supplier. If you are interested in taking part in the next
further competition for mobile voice and data services or would like us to
consider aggregating requirements for other technology goods and services
