EPs to quiz Phil Hogan on how best to tackle farm produce price crisis

MEPs will quiz EU farm policy chief Phil Hogan on Tuesday at 11.00 on the Commission's latest aid package to help EU farmers cope with falling farm produce prices, high input costs and the Russian embargo on imports of EU foodstuffs

They will also assess the effectiveness of the 2015 package to tackle the crisis and debate ways to ensure fair incomes for farmers and help them to become more resilient to future market shocks.
