'Let's talk cancer', an innovative crowdsourcing project run by the Institute of Welsh Affairs (IWA) in partnership with Tenovus Cancer care and the Jane Hodge Foundation, has published its 6 final recommendations calling for more emphasis on the patient experience.

The six week exercise, which engaged with 9,000 patients across Wales, found that people affected by cancer valued better communication and information.

The final recommendations include calls for better information around on the day delays to appointments and access for patients to their records, as well as support for benefits claims.
